Review

Alex, James and co were polite, courteous and punctual at all times during this project. They let us know
when illness such as Covid 19 slowed the pace, and suggested times that we could pick up filming again, so we always had clarity as to timescales. They gave a presentation so I could understand their ‘vision’ and we could make sure that it aligned with ours. They were solution focused and welcoming when community members didn’t want to be filmed but wanted voiceover only and overlaid relevant footage. The team were flexible and understanding when external partners who were originally willing to be filmed changed their minds. The team seemed genuinely and authentically interested in the community, our team members and what we do which immediately built a positive relationship of trust. It was absolutely delightful to turn around and notice that James had started to participate in an open access dance lesson during one of our events – this is entirely what we welcome and want at Riverside and made our day.
The team have been consistently approachable about any ideas any of us have had, and the feedback given to ‘draft one’ of the film was received so openly, undefensively and in such a solution focused manner that the difference between the draft and the final film is hugely improved, transformed even
.
