“An Experimental Film”
An unseen protagonist watches the world from their window. As their life slowly falls into ruins, they watch the world around them, a world that becomes increasingly sinister to deal with.
Statement of Intent
“This project was an awful lot of fun, working with an awesome team and incredibly talented cast! It was an education in the managing of larger scale production with many cast members and complicated production managment. It marks a move away from drama filmmaking to some more entertaining genre projects.”
– Alexander J. Griffiths

Director’s Statement
“The idea of Vue Den-Haut came naturally to us as people watching is such a common activity that is rarely spoken about.
We wanted to explore that concept in different ways in this film: a romanticised ‘fantasy’, an objective observation of human behaviour and the aftermath of exploring this concept so deeply – a bit of absurdity and self reflection.
The making of Vue D’en Haut was a both a challenge and a joy to all of us so it means a lot and we all hope that you really enjoy it”
Reviews
“Really evocative, a dreamy kind of disconnection going on and some very clever shots. Very noirish. It reminds me how cheeky I am as a photographer sometimes, how much I remove myself and observe but also makes me think how much we all are with CCTV in a way.“
